My World

by Proverb

Here I am at Pier 39, San Francisco, an American city where we were together several months in the beginning of this year. I asked a non-salary license to my newspaper after being accepted to U.C. Berkeley. I studied photography. At that time I was really needing to learn something new and photography was an old dream. A lot of years at the newspaper made me arrive to a point where I was very tired. We had some extra money, so, I took the risk. We faced some difficulties there, but it was really worth it. My photography final project was about homeless people. Was a great, great, experience.

Here is my Adverb, tired, very tired, at the airport. This was the airport year. Planes to America, planes to Portugal. In two weeks we will be flying again to America, if the Lord allows it... I hope so, because we fought a lot to be together. Today one more paper arrived, one of the most important ones, to present to the consulate after we marry. This year has been like that, papers and more papers...

And here is one of the most important men in my life, my brother. We were at my father's farm and he was telling me about a bird nest that he found.

After my Adverb and my brother, here is the rest of my world: my father who I really, reallly love, with his old outfit that he wears when he works on his farm; my lovely nephew in my lap; and my sister with the big doll I brought her from San Francisco.

My mother is not here because I dont have one.
